Somebody actually bought one...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-M...QQcmdZViewItem

The seller has 82 of these gizmos up for auction. In fact, he has a total of 13784 active auctions on eBay. How is that even possible? His eBay bill must be outrageous.

His bill is probably huge, but he's selling $10 hairdryers attached to $50 intakes and selling them for $350.

if he listed 13,000 auctions as all separate, his bill is only around $250 since he's listing the auctions through his ebay store. Insertion fees are $.02 per auction for 30 days.

Ok, I don't. Couldn't fake that one any longer!

At least he found a use for those hair dryers he bought on clearance at Big Lots...

From the title of this thread, I thought it was one of these, which I personally cannot wait for, but the hairdryer comments from ekaz and rebound are spot on!

Wow, JV, I was looking at your ElectroCharger link and they said this in the FAQ:

Quote:
Q. Is the Electrocharger™ a performance upgrade? A. Yes, it decreases your 0-60 time by a minimum of 3 seconds and sheds at least 3 seconds off your 1/4 mile time, over stock vehicle performance

That means that if you put one on an M5, you could get its 0-60 times down to around 1.5 seconds! Sign me up!

That's very inexpensive. The electric supercharger he sold probably paid for all of his ads.
