I'll shoot a few pics after the rain stops and I clean up the car. It's dark and gray outside today. Thursday I'm pretty busy and Friday we are headed to California and places beyond for 2 or 3 weeks. I'll take my camera to California and wash the car there. I'm sure we can scare up some photos from some other people here on the board in the mean time.

Black definitely shows dust and dirt far worse than any other color. On the flip side, it's the easiest to keep in good shape in the long term when you get scuffs and scratches (which are inevitable), as a bit of black shoe polish on a damaged area does wonders.

Keeping them clean is simple. Buy a micro fiber cloth, wet it and wring it out completely, then wipe down your seats and it will take off all the dust, hair, gunk, frappucinos, etc. etc. beautifully without the need for chemical cleaners.

Thanks B&D....I plan on keeping some microfiber towels in ther car...I also did buy some disposable wipes, some leather cleaner, trim cleaner, etc....But if warm water will do the trick, all the better

My thinking w/black was the longer term wear and tear....I know that with a dog, tossing bags and bikes and all kinds of gear, and, eventually, kids, interiors just get scuffed up...and tan shows it all off.

For us, as for most of us on here, i'd assume, the x3 is a real world vehicle, do to be driven and used well.

When i get my Enzo Ferrari or some such showpiece, i'll get the tan interior
