Have you asked Basslink for instructions? I'm surprised you didn't them when you bought it.

Simple, open up the panel on the drivers side of the hatch, in there you will see the amp./etc. for the stereo. There is only one connector similar to the basslink connector. Unplug it, plug it into the basslink and then back into the original spot. Done.

Do you have DSP system in your car? There is a tiny difference in installation procedure if you do not have premium sound system and you will need tap the Basslink to rear or front speaker lines.

If you want to get more specific information, you can ask it directly from Basslink Web Support....

Some basic instructions for Basslink:

Ok, so you have same setup like I have, w/o DSP w/o NAV. I just installed the Basslink, took about 4-5 hours. Some companies would have taken about 200 USD for installation, so I decided to do it by myself. I have BMW TIS manual in use and it helped a lot.

If you will have any questions, please do not hesitate to send PM for me. You can find wiring diagrams etc. from online WDS (plug connector X10266, A18 amplifier pin assignments ect.) and you can find basic installation setup from www.infinitysystems.com web page.

Good luck!
