Question Alpina X3?!?

Does anyone have any information on an Alpina X3? I saw one driving home the other night and don't know if it was simply a "badge conversion" or if there was actually some tuning involved. It looked stock, but . . . looks can be deceiving.

My guess would be someone did a badge conversion. AFAIK, Alpina has not done an X3. The only Alpinas brought into the US in recent times were the Z8's and that was a deal with BMW.

It is probably just the Emblem. People are selling a pair alpina or AC for $29 on ebay.

Sad but true.
I bet some of them actually think it makes their car handle and perform better

Imagine pulling up to the light in a car badged alpina b3 or DINAN M5, and getting whipped by an EVO or an STi
