10,000 trouble free miles

In just 4.5 months we put 10,000 on the X3. So far it's been nothing short of spectacular. Julia and I drove down to Irvine Ca from our motorhome base in San Juan Bautista over the weekend to do a business expo. The clock hit 10k a few miles from being back in NoCal at 10:45pm Saturday. We've been averaging 24.5 mpg on our freeway trips. The next run will be back to our house in Prescott on the 25th of Aug and will return to Cal on the 1st of Sept. I could not be happier with the X3, well maybe a little if I could tow it behind the motorhome.

Congrats! Can't you tow a trailer with the X3 on it?

A trailer would work but it adds about 1600lbs to the tow weight. As it is the X3 tips the scales at 4300lbs. Anything more than that it becomes very noticable while in tow. We think the best alternative is a small car weighing under 3,000lbs.
