Thats correct. The voice module is now integrated into the Bluetooth phone/Assist TCU for the US market. This includes voice commands for the phone only.
FYI ... a seperate standalone voice module was available previously (mainly for the E46, E53, E38) which did include voice commands for the NAV and the note feature. You may find a user manual for this floating around on the net. You might be able to pick this up on ebay, and connect it to your current system, however you would need to recode your current TCU to disable the built in voice commands ... no one to my knowledge has attempted this to date. Then ... to complicate things further, the BT phone only module made by Visteon (which many folks have fitted over here) does include the voice commands for Phone, NAV and notepad ..... |
