2007 Order codes

Greetings all. First post here, but I have been lurking for a bit.

I am trying to place my order for a 2007 X3 through the Military Sales Division and have been told that the only interior color options are black, gray, sand biege, or sand biege/black.

However, looking at the press release from BMWNA that was posted here recentl, terracotta and chocolate are also available as "priority one" options (for SOLD cars only). What exactly does this mean and how do I go about getting them. My wife is almost uninterested without the terracotta, help!

If you are ordering your car through the military sales program, technically it should be a priority one car, since you are ordering it for you...

I say push a little and you might get what you want.

On another note, dealers only really budge on priority 1 options if your a preferred and known customer and sometimes charge the customer exorbitant prices for priority 1 options...

Well, as it turns out, Terracotta as well as the new tobacco color available on the new X5 *are* available on the X3 for 2007. You will not see any on dealer lots though since they are special order options only. We opted for the terracotta vice the tobacco since we have never seen the tobacco in person. The same is true for the aluminum trim for 2007.
