Paint bumper or not paint

Was after a Sapphire black X3 but dealer switch me to Silver. Now, I am thinking if I should paint the bumper to silver. I want to but my wife said it looks more like a van if bumper painted
I live in a small town and dont have much chance to see a X3 here, not to say a aero kit or painted bumper. What do the you guys prefer as a X3 owner?

Thanks

I've heard that the paint won't stick well to the X3's bumper. Instead of painting the standard bumper, why not go for the aero kit?
Just my $0.02

You do have a point! But if you're going to paint the bumpers I'm pretty sure that whoever paints the bumpers must prime and prepare the bumper to the actual paint. I don't think that paint will be peeling so easily or at all for that matter.

Well I think that if it works out it will look great! Just be careful who does it, cause if they do a bad job it'll come back to haunt you. Good luck!

MUCHAS GRACIAS! I'm actually going to have it done at a BMW center. I do hope that it works out just fine.

Aero kit is a bit too expensive for me either and it is always hard to find locally. My wife has already said that I spend too much money on the car. Anyway, let me know how your car turn out to be.
