The "super hot ass toaster" was an issue with my '04 X3, but I was told by the stealer that the problem was solved with the '06 MY. I guess they were wrong.......I assume that you've had the seat warmer set on high before without an issue, right? If so, that's a bit scary.

My friend's 2004 e60 530d had the same issue. Heater put holes in his leather seat. Stealer changed the whole seat.
