X3 - problems with LCD (closing)
Initially was something erratic, but now is usual. It tries to close but it stops after 25% of the process. I have to close it by hand and after that it will automaticly open after 10 min since I've started the engine. Any clues ? The electrical engine is working and the problem seems to be that the power is cut down too soon. P.S. It seems that the problems started when I've upgraded the firmware version. (lot of updates) |

One of my 2 X3's does the same thing but in reverse...the monitor wont open. It seems to be better since installing nav os v28. Apparently that was one of the things v28 was designed to fix.
Good luck.

My X3 has been doing this same thing for a while and finally the last time it happened I just drove to the dealer and showed them the problem...they are replacing the navigation drive assembly (servo) on Holloween. I will ask them to update the os to v28 (i have v27) but from what I remember they dont do that...Maybe if I push them a bit. Ill let you guys know what happens when I talk to them.
