Audio Question

Is there a way to shut off the way the audio lowers and raises based on your speed? Its driving me nuts, cause its quiet when i want it to be lowder and then annoying loud when it should be quieter.. its like a guessing game with what volume works for me.

thanks,
Tyson

If you press the "music note" symbol for a few seconds you'll see a number appear on your display. The higher the number the more dramtic effect speed and noise will have on your radio volume. Adjust it to 1 and you'll have little effect. It's in your owners manual.

You can adjust how much speed compensation the system allows. By default, it is 3 (out of 6). Minimal (i suppose none) is 1, max is 6. In the winter time, I leave it at 3 and bump it up to 4 or even 5 during the summer months when my windows/moonroof are open.

Look in your manual. You didn't mention Nav at the beginning of this thread. If you want help, it would help to know all the facts so we don't give you wrong info.
