On BMWs (or any other car for that matter), I like to keep mods looking like factory-installed, not "aftermarket".

As do I. I'm not a purist but the bling bling on BMW's doesn't work for me and it surely does not help resale once you decide to buy another BMW. I guess it's the best part of the hobby though. We are all free to express our BMW interests in different ways.
