Question Corona/angel eyes--rings question??

I have '07 X3 with Adaptive Xenon and had the dealer turn the DRL's on. It appears that the inner headlights are for DRL and "Flash to pass" lights only--putting on High Beams lifts the outer Xenon beams and the inner lights stay dim--Here is my question--I see BMW's driving in daytime with only the 4 coronas burning--it looks soo cool and I wonder if I can have this done and use this as DRL's--?? Anyone have that setup??

BMW OEM angel eyes turn on when you turn on the parking lights. You can have the dealer disable your DRL and then drive around with your parking lights.

Yea I figured that one out--but I was hoping the parking lights could come on in the Auto mode as DRL's

Yes the new X5 and 3 series coupe/convertable models have those, I figured the X3 would too
