Hey Guys,
According to my dealer, there have been quite a few cases of this happening and BMW HQ had a solution for it involving them to reset the computer and then drive about 100miles on it to make sure that fixed it. This seems to have worked; I havn't gotten any problems after driving 400-500 miles on it already.
An another note, I did manage to put about 550miles on the loaner 2K6 X3 i got from them. I am amazed at the difference between the two cars. The loaner was really loud, both engine and road noise. And it didn't handle as well while it was a rougher ride! I also didn't feel that the interior quality was that great - especially the dash material. I am very happy to have my car back!
