I heard somewhere the 2.5i is the best selling variant of the X3 worldwide because it sits in the middle of engine and trim choices. For American standards, yes it is a bit modest on power (trust me, drive an econobox or a Prius........that's underpowered.) but it's good with gas and in most cases, is enough going up and down mountains highways with a load in the trunk. And yes, I did notice that across the border, most the X3s I saw were 2.5i models. (And they're smart enough to realize that you don't need a 4x4 to get around in snow, but that's another discussion)

At the mileage you provided it is under warranty and maintenance, so make sure you get the window creaks fixed, as they are a common problem. Also make sure if the moonroof is secure, or if it leaks/rattles. Otherwise, that's about it for "common" problems.
