Is possible change and upgrading the 2005 rear lights to new FL lights with leds?

the connectors are probably different, but the shape seems to be the same

Yes, the connections probably will be differents.
And the lights on the rear door too bright in FL and not in 2006.

Hi all, I have X3 3.0i of 2005 model.
it's very interesting! Does anyone know new Tail light kit part number?(Left & Right)
I will try it with my own risk regarding I understood the connector is defferent.
