BMW have have launched a hands free kit for most models including X3(E83) Part no 84 64 0 420 741 for £150 plus installation. It has a number of features including voice through car's speakers, uses BMW mic and can use multi funtion steering wheel volume etc. Has anyone installed and if so what is your view and has anyone found a cheaper alternative which is as good and similar features?

Sorry, mine came with Bluetooth preinstalled.
It is sweet, though!

You might want to try the ParrotKits alternative.
http://www.parrotkits.com/steeringwheel.html I have it installed in my x3 with no problems. |

I'm not sure if you got my question about how your Parrot system allows you to scroll through your phonebook and if you get any info on your satnav/radio screen ?
