I took my X3 to have this issue taken care of. When I got the X3 back the dealership definitely got rid of the noise. Now, after 2 weeks, the noises have returned.

My question is this something that I’ll be needing to resolve every now and then or is there a way for someone to resolve this issue on their own rather then taking the X3 to the dealership every time?

Do you know what exactly was done by the dealer? Replaced parts or cleaning only?

I've been traveling and have not got any chance to bring the car in for the fix. Will probably get it done within a week or two. Will update the result once done.

They did tell me that a part needed to be replaced but they didn't tell me. I have the receipt report at home. I'm going to check it out and see what exactly was done.

Ok.... took the car to the dealer (again) earlier in the week. This time they replaced the "Roof Frame Seal" for all doors.

Been driving it for 2 days now. So far, I have not noticed the noise. But since the noise came back only a few days after the last fix, I'm going to keep my fingers crossed for a few more days before confirming that this is fixed!
