A/C Refridgerant Leaks - where?

2004 X3. My A/C system has a leak. I added R134a and it went from working OK to no cooling in ~ 5 days. I'm going to start looking for the leaks but thought I'd ask if there were known trouble spots. Posts on X5 talked about the service ports. I'll check there, but was wondering if there were any else.

Also, I was looking through the TIS for instructions on how to remove the evaporator core to see what is involved. (sure hope not...) I couldn't find anything. Is it in the TIS? What # doucment(s) have the info?

Anyone know what the high side and low side pressures are supposed to be? I found somehting in the TIS that called out ~202 psi and 25 psi. That seems like a huge difference. I'm not getting anywhere near that (180/45) so I'm wondering if there is another problem with the A/C system.

To darn hot to be without A/C!! (approaching 100F today)

Thanks!
