Search here and other X3 forums for LOTs of info. Search for IPOD, here's a link that mentions the cable in the rear.

Reading threads some more and learning. I see a coaxial and 3-wire connector in the left rear panel bundled in cloth. I believe the 3 wire connector plugs into the Sirius box to provide connectivity to the changer in the center console. I checked and it fits into the Sirius box. I believe that the Coaxial connector might be the 2nd antenna connector for the older generation of Sirius recievers. To date have my NAV video module installed and it is working. Purchased an aux audio cable. In the 330XI I was able to tap into the radio module in the trunk for my radio module. Looks like with the X3 the only place to connect the aux audio is in back of the radio. Wondering though if I could tap into the back of Sirius reciever. (if the three wire connector is just audio for the cd changer). The goal of this endeavor is the installation of a car pc in the rear trunk area adjacent to NAV unit. I guess it wouldn't be that difficult to run the audio cable to the rear of the vehicle. The other 3 wire connection to the Sirius appears to be the IBUS connection. Does anyone know if this is correct?
