20"s on an X3??

Getting my wife an X3 and she wants some rims on it. I see some have gone 19" but what about 20"? What is the widest tire I can fit? I am thinking 275/40/20 is it possible? I had an '03 4.6is so I am familiar with that but I am curious as to what I can do with this. Thanks!!!

275/40/20 should be just fine...its not gonna bother it at all besides the obvious rougher ride..

The widest tire i saw was 285/30 R20 on the rear. 275/30 R20 - front.

The X3 can swallow up to 21" I think. AC Schnitzer has 21" available, although they're on super-low profile tires that look like they won't survive the next speed bump.
