Which X3 to choose?

Well, I’ve finally convinced the wife to sell the MB SLK350 and get her an X3. A buyer has shown up for the SLK faster than I thought, so its time to get the X3.

Now, I’ve been to the dealer and I’ve narrowed the decision down to 2 different X3’s I can get in the next 3-4 weeks. Mind you, they’re both pretty nicely spec’d and cost about the same but have a few differences.

Both are 3.0d – 218hp, black sapphire, M aerodynamics package, xenons, navi, sport seats, etc.

Version I – Terracotta interior, 4BN wood trim, HiFi Professional Logic 7, Y spoke 191 M wheels 19”.

Version II – Sandbeige interior, brushed alu trim, HiFi loudspeaker system, TV function, spoke 192 M wheels 18”.

I’m thinking version I because I love the logic 7 and 19” rims but I’ not too sure about the terracotta interior. What do you guys think?

If we pull the trigger and replace my wife's 325xi wagon with the X3 she ONLY wants the terracotta interior. I can say that the sand gets dirtier quicker than most other colors based on past experience.

i have the terracotta interior in my X3 and i love it. it's unique - i rarely see any X3's or other vehicles, for that matter, out there with it. and i've had no problems with it showing too much dirt or anything (not that we expose it to much dirt to begin with - we have no kids, and the dog always goes in the cargo area). if i had to choose over again, i'd still select the terracotta...

I have Auburn leather in my 525 and love it. It is a little different than Terra but the idea is the same.... I'm with the others..... It is unique.... in a good way

I really don't think Logic7 is available on the X3.

Still, the first option is the one to get. Terracotta is terrific and unusual; plus its better looking than the Terra on the E90 or even the Auburn on the E60 IMO. Think "brick red".

18" wheels don't have the same problems as 19". There is less chance of blowouts from potholes. Never having been to Poland, this may not actually be a problem. The rest of ver.1 looks great.
