your help please

i saw thiw item on ebay

and i was wondering if i need anything else to install it in my x3 2.0 petrol 2005 model

like extra wiring or reprogramming something

also where i can find a good manual for the x3(wiring etc)

This is great set for x3 but dont forget about map DVD

this retrofit needs to be recoded with dealer equipment

Retrofitting work itself takes about 5 hrs (with beer)

What about the mounting frame for the Mk4 which bolts into the space behing the panel in the cargo area? I don't think that comes fitted to X3's without Nav.

no there is no frame trapdoor but that is not really a problem

the wiring from the dvd to the front is what i need

the map is something i dont really care at the moment

the only thing is if i have to change my radio to the busssiness one because i shlould be start looking for one

if the dealer does not nothong works??

now i need a little help for the connections

i dont know what cables are behind the radio

do i have to disconect the car battery ? i guess yes


is there a connection diagramm somewhere to get the info ?

i had a good discount

1800 us dollars with postage and insurance included

i prefer the original stuff

for navigation i use my personal pna with audio video out which will be routed to the monitor

here we are
i am just checking the connectivity at the moment
i have this long bunch of wire with 3 connectors(blue red and white) and 2 black ones
the 2 coloured connectors match with colours of the dvd mkiv input output easy lol

now i have a white connector which seems to plug in the monitor cable they match in colour (both white) i think that was the easy part
