DIY pass airbag light

Not sure how many people are as anoyyed by the light as i am driving at night, but i drove from FL to Alaska and it was getting on my nerves bad so here is what i did since the dealer wouldnt help me.

***Notice this is a do it at your own risk, I claim no responsibilaty for anything that happens to your X this is just what i did and havent had any problems yet. ******

1. I pulled gently on the cover containing light, i used my finger nail on the corners near the moon roof.

2. Next pull the blue connector out of the back of the light and push the black light housing out one side at a time.

3. Seperate the black and the white/clear from each other using a small screw driver on all four corners. Once apart take the green circuit board off the clear part.

4. Put the black housing and the white/clear parts back together and plug the blue conector back to the green circuit board/light back together with one space/hole on both sides of the connector.

5. Push the light housing back in the cover and put the cover back in place.

Now the light will shine slightly through the cover and not in your eye and still look stock.

I have a bunch of pics but im not good with posting pics, if anyone wants them just let me know.
