Pricing any good ? What do you guys think of the wheels?

Hey guys.,

thinking about getting the 2007 X3 at the dealership..

It have

for about $43k.. what do you guys think..

But I'm wonder if the Style 128 wheels would look better on the X3 then the style 191M? both are in 19"

or

Price sounds good to me,

I think the 191M gives is a more aggressive look, but the 128 will give it a sporty look. But I like the 191M's better.

true.. the 128 just look a bit larger on the car.. even though its not.. LOL..

so you think mid $43 is good for a 2007 X3, Demo with around 7k on it..

still thinking about it..

i'm trying to find a mid $40 for a new body style X5.

I have seen the 5 spoke wheels (128?) on the a new X3 and they are beautiful, compliments the X lines very nicely- plus easier to clean.

The price could definitely be lower. I'd say at or a bit below $40k would be proper. My dealer has one that's almost identical to the one you showed plus PDC for $39k.

thats what I wonder about the price too.. since it is a demo and been siting at the dealer for awhile..

but they swear that they are giving it to me $1,500 below invoice. ...

so the its at $41,200 plus the 6.25% tax/title etc.. to make it $43,775 Drive out..

i would take it if its under $40k

I would ask them to meet you half way:
43,800 (just to round it of)- 40,000.= 3800.00 / 2= 1900.00

gives you 41,900.00 out the door or as you say it "drive out"......Its almost end of the month. Consumer spending is down. They will give in.

Exclamation Achtung!

A word of caution: If it is an automatic gearbox, take a long thorough test drive, making turns and coasting up/down hills (if possible, in flat Texas). There have been a substantial number of issues with the new 6-speed automatic especially in the MY2007. Hesistation and rough downshifting, especially in SD mode, are the primary symptoms. DO NOT BUY if it exhibits any of the problems because it will most definitely ruin an otherwise great vehicle.

I did have a chance to drive a 07 loaner when our 05 went in for service and yes I found the transmission temperamental , hunting gears like a headless chicken. (not to say that the 05 wasnt like that either)
But could it be because it is a loaner and different people drive it differently and the trans basically has to learn new driving habits every so often- hence after it learns the trans shifting should be better. Isnt this so?
