I keep my cargo net in there, along with a Petzl Tika.

Yup!

By the way, welcome to the board, blh. Be sure to check out the Articles section, and of course, the lounge.

SORRY- SORRY-- My original; question should have been------

Dues anyone know of a cover for the hole in the right rear floor?

The explaination is -- I currently have a Land Rover Freelander-- (Yes all the horror stories about them are true) & we also have an X-3 and will be replacing the Freelander with a 2006 X3. The floor opening could create a safety problem for our two Border Collies who love to ride in the back.

I know they have rubber mat that covers the entire rear compartment. I have it on both our X5 and X3. We have dogs also, so this is why we got them. Talk to your parts department, or look in accessories catalog. There IS one.

We have a Jack Russell Terrier and I bought a rubber mat for the back of my X3 also. However, it does NOT cover the whole floor. We might have gotten different mats...
