Talking Just got my 1st X3! And got a sick deal too!

I just ordered a NEW '08 X3 at Difeo BMW in Tenafly, NJ.
Owned an 06 Audi A3 previously and an 01 E46 before that.
This is my first SAV/SUV ever and I can't wait.

Will be getting it on Saturday! 5/3/08

Here's the specs...
Monaco Blue / Grey Leather / Grey Poplar
Prem Pack
Cold Weather Pack
Sports Pack
19" Wheels
Navigation
Xenons
Privacy glass
SIRIUS Satellite Radio

$49,505 MSRP

Got a 24 month, 12K/yr miles - ONE PAY LEASE for... get this..

$12,247! All taxes and fees included

The lowest price for a one pay lease from any other dealer was $16K.
I really feel I got a steal here and I can't wait to get into this baby.

Woo-Hoo!

Sorry for the ignorance does that mean you lease the car for approx $6000 per year for two years. If so is there a mileage limit?

Here in the UK if I leased a similar car it would be in the region of £9,000 per year including mtce and tyres with a 20K mileage limit for a 3 year period.

Looks to be a good combination of colours and options (provided you don't have an AT)! I'm no expert on leases and whatnot but as long as you got a good deal, that's great. Pics when you can

That's $510/month... why is that a sick deal?

I've never heard of a 1 payment lease, why would you give them all the money up front? did they discount the lease payment because of you paying it all up front?

Just curious...

1 time lease payments are good because you're not paying as much interest and for people that actually have the money or don't like making monthly payments it guarantees you're getting a new car in 2-3 yrs

A lease means you get a new car every 2-3 years, the 1 time payment has no bearing on that.

About the interest rate, what's the money factor on a 1 time payment lease vs. a conventional lease with monthly payments?

The A3 was fine... just got bored with it. It was too small and I grew to HATE the color (Brilliant Red). I have always owned my cars outright and hate having to make payments so this was easier for me.

With the 1-pay, money factor is base MINUS 80-100 points. definitely helps in that department.
also, with the 1-pay, its a huge plus for your credit ... i.e. credit quick fix.
also, thats $500/month Total... i.e. I have a friend who is paying $505 a month for a similar car and put $4K down. That a big difference. You have to consider this is a 50K MSRP car. I contacted over 30 different BMW dealers in my area (NY/NJ/PA/CT). The 2nd best offer was still over 3K more than this. Most wanted 16-17K.
