Is the 07 Tranny problem fixed?

Hi There:

I can't find any recent posts on the 07 X3 shifting problems. Did BMW finally get a fix or did everyone just give up? Mine goes in to the dealer on Monday and the mechanic says he never heard of a problem. The latest I have from searching the forums is:

To those of you who have had the software update completed, did you take notice of the software version number? I ask because the shop foreman at one of the local dealerships I was talking to informed me that they have completed a few updates with V25.01.00, but it did not totally correct the problem. He then told me that they just received a service bulletin from BMW Canada last week along with a newer software version V25.2, which he was informed was supposed to totally correct the problem
