I just finished playing around on the BeamER site, "pricing out" cars...
a new '06 3.0 X3, 6 Spd, Prem/Cold/Sport etc. for about 43Gs: http://byo.bmwusa.com/configurator/c...=XAB60BMS201A0  Obviously diff cars, but the new X5 with sim stuff to the X3, (and very sim to our 4 yr old '01 3.0 X5), is : 51Gs. http://byo.bmwusa.com/configurator/c...=XAB60BMS191A0 I am surprised the official wheel choice is so narrow on both the X3 and X5, and I am not a fan of any of the choices, espc on the X3. This is the Sport Wheel,  : And, this is a much better looking 18" wheel, but Not avail. w/Sport, other than a Stlr swap out. Dumb, imo.:  Interesting to noodle around there, however. BR,md
