tranny problem fixed?

I'm thinking about an 08 X3 but was wondering if anyone with a current build is experiencing the tranny issue?

TIA

Since the mid-winter builds, the AT transmission software seems to have improved. I would order a 2009 to be absolutely sure, or get a manual transmission. I know that for 2009, Saddle Brown is available as an interior leather option.

Oh, sorry. I saw the thud and got ahead of myself.

The FX is one of the ugliest SUV's on the market right now. It looks like a bloated Hyundai Tiburon. Everyone calls the Cayenne a pepper, but the FX looks much more "pepper-ish" from the profile if you ask me.

I think an Infinity might make a great dd for him considering he's got a Vette to play with. Reliable, pretty competent power and handling, but slightly boring compared to Bimmer (and you get to keep your headlights ).
