Hand Break warning light turns yellow

I have a 12 month old X3 2.0 diesal SE which has done 35k miles when in slow moving traffic the hand break warning light come on without the hand break being on only its yellow rather than red. After a few minutes or when I pick up speed it goes out again

The owners manual states that if the Handbrake light comes on in yellow, that Dynamic Braking Control is defective. If it went out and never came back, might have just been an electrical glitch.
