Drivers door seal
Hi there, this is my first post and I've bought a 2.5i Sport 2004. I've just noticed that the drivers door seal has been rubbed to the point there is a hole in it. Has anyone bought this as a spare part and fitted it? BMW dealership wants £72 to supply and fit. Also the rear bumber tow hook cover keeps falling off and does anyone know where to get these? (I think I can fit it myself.. lol)

You could try here: http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...layCatalogid=0 I'm not sure about fitting the door seal, it could be easy. Or not.

I have 2004 X3 and the same problem, worn drivers door seal at the bottom. I reported this to the dealer and they initially were going to replace under warranty. Dealer changed their mind when they saw the cost of the part and said it was normal "wear and tear". Funny, none of my other vehicles have this normal wear. So I am still living with the seal. Good luck with the repair.
