Question 2006 BMW X3 Headlamp Removal

I recently purchased Bimmian's HID Retrofit for my 2006 X3, and ran into a few problems removing both the driver and passanger headlamp (entire housing).

I removed the two screws on the upper (top) of the lights and the two smaller ones on the lower (bottom) of the headlamp. The lights moved inwards and outwards about 2-3" but I could not remove them form the vechile, nor move them upwards.

I do not have Xeon or Washers on my car, just the standard H11 and H7 bulbs. I read on several forums that there are 4 screws then the lights come out, others I had read that part of the bumper has to be removed. I would just like clarification before I start unscrewing stuff, that doesn't need to be.

If anyone has remove their lights or knows how to, any information would be great. Thanks.
