Dice Install Help

I tried to install my Dice module tonight, with little success. After fishing around in the center console for 10 minutes I thought to look in the trunk for the wires. I guess the 05's with Nav were automatically pre-wired for Sat Radio, not sure what the 12-pin and two mini-antenna cables are for. I plugged in the Dice module, followed by connecting the 6 pin and the 3 pin cables. When I turned on the vehicle I waited 1 minute before hitting mode. When I hit mode, it went to a screen that said Speed Dialing, and showed the name of the song playing on the iPod. No music came out of the speakers, although there was a high pitched hum the whole time (the noise you get when you hold your cell phone close to speakers). When I hit mode it let me go back to the radio, but not the front CD player (does this also get disabled?).

I turned the car off and tried again, however this time nothing came on. It didn't detect the Dice module, and the iPod didn't indicate it was being charged.

Any help would be greatly appreciate.

Thanks

There may have been another 6-pin adapter in your center console. Did you happen to have any other connections?

I will look again today to see if I can find connections in the center console. Tom, yes, in the trunk the 6 pin and 3 pin came in a bundle with 3 additional cables, a 12-pin connector and two mini-antenna connections.

Could it be possible that the car has to be coded to accept the CD Changer?

Thanks
