Run Forrest, RUN !!!
Any sales clown that tells you the car hesitates, runs like crap, then throws the MIL on and attributes it to "because it sat for a while" isn't worth your time. Was the car up to temperature when you had the hesitation ? How long was the test drive ? If it was for more than 20 minutes and you had this happen, I would suggest you move on. After 20 minutes, the battery should be close to fully charged, and most, if not all of your fluids would be up to temperature so the car should have been in it's optimum operating range.
If you are REALLY interested in the car, drive to the dealership and see if the car has been repaired. If it has, than maybe they are worth doing business with as they attend to the problems promptly. If not, then they don't seem to care the car ran like crap and had a dissatisfied customer.
