Nice. I pick mine up on Friday. Saphire Black / Gray Leather. Will leave straight from the dealer and head to Zermot Switzerland, what a way to break the vehicle in.

Too bad just spraying the 04 bumpers won't do the trick since they are completely new bumpers... facelift already in 2 years... what are they thinking? I'm disappointed.

I really don't think this is a "face lift". It's the "M-Sport body kit", which BMW USA decided to package it as "standard" for all new X3 they sell. The rest of the world still has the original black bumpers.

Not true. In Canada the X3 3.0i also has this body kit standard now. But we also have the 2.5i still selling, and it retains its plasticity.

Ok, may be Canada as well ;-)

What I was trying to say is that adding the M-Sport body kit shouldn't make it a "Face Lift". Most people in Europe, UK and Asia still can get the original Black bumper as standard, the design of the car has not changed at all for 2006. The M-Sport Body is just an option (as with the Aero Kit I & II).

Has anyone checked with the dealer to see whether the M-Sport body kit can be "retrofit" onto a '04/'05 X3? I'll be suprised if it cannot be!
