Airbag light
Removed the front seats and carpet on my wifes 2004 X3 3.0 petrol to replpace the leaking rear washer hose that was fractured. All sorted put everthing back together again but the airbag light is showing on the dash. I assume this is connected via the yellow matchbox size plugs under each seat. I have unplpugged and rechecked and replugged but light still on. Any ideas ?? Thanks all |

I believe you will have to have the dealer cancel this light for you.
When a airbag light comes on, it needs to be reset. |

I had the same issue when I accidentally unplugged one and ekvals is correct you will need to go to a service center and get them to reset it. You should do it sooner rather than latter just in case the airbags are now inactive. You would hate to have a crash and your airbags dont fire. It takes all of 2 minutes for them to reset it and if they are a good dealer they should do it for free I know mine did.
