That's not fully loaded, but still a good value. Make sure it's got all the updated parts done. Creaking window frames and rattling moonroofs are the two only notable problems.

Note that the 2004 model year has a slightly firmer suspension which may not be to your liking if your roads are poor.

I just got a CPO 2005 X3 3.0 with 27K miles for about $22,000. The flamenco red color kinda grew on me, especially in the evening light.

With the low mileage and 2 years of CPO, I figured the deal was pretty good. Of course I wish I had paid $500 less, but the car is really unused -- some housewife had it and some of the accessories still had the wrappers on them (like the rear cup holder).

I'm still learning about the car, but the options are: cold weather package, premium package, Xenon headlights, navigation, Servotronic steering, Steptronic transmission, panoramic moonroof, and a few things that the dealer said were "options" but are probably included ("smokers package"!).

This is my 5th BMW but my first SAV so I look forward to the ride along with you all!

-pd.
