Sunroof drain are located where?
Where are the drain holes in the read of the sunroof? And where does the drain exit? I'd like to pour some water in to see if one is clogged and the cause of my wet carpet behind the driver's seat. Thanks. |

open the sun roof and look at the 4 corners. my 05 had wet front carpets and a drenched rear driver side seat. Luckily it was just under the warranty. I checked the drains before I brought it and they all seemed to be working
Even though I got water to pour out each drain, the dealer said the drains were clogged and replaced a gasket. Not sure if it fixed it because it hasn't poured since I got it back fyi the rear drain outlets via the side of the plastic bumper at the bottom (they point "in") Last edited by codog11; 08-22-2009 at 09:19 AM. |

If it is the rear floorboard just behind the drivers seat that is wet and all other places are dry, it wouldn't be the sunroof drains. It is most likely the vapor barrier on the rear door coming loose at the bottom letting rain water past it which flows from the bottom edge of the door panel over the door sill to the carpets.
Open that suspect rear door and look for signs fo dried water trails coming from the bottom of the door panel... if they are there this is your problem.
