Do you mean the warning lights are not operational? You can do a gauge cluster check to see if all lights are working. Do a search for unlock On Board Computer, or its something the dealer can do very quickly.

hi!
yes,the warning lights are not operational for these two things .do i need to take the car to be checked at a dealer and they plug it to a computer? are both these warning lights on the same 'fuse/circuit or am i possibly missing other warnings?i just bought it so dont know much about the car timbo

Hard to say, it's something that might need to be diagnosed at the dealer. You can't just replace individual warning lights in the cluster- the entire cluster must be replaced.
