Bluetooth retro fit

Apologies if this has been answered many times already but I'm new to the forum.

I'm awaiting delivery of my 2010 X3. It did not come with the bluetooth. Is it possible to retro fit BT to my X3? Does it come "pre wired"? Is it difficult to do myself? What should i expect to spend?

Any info is appreciated.

Thanks,
Brett

Yes; it can be done they are pre-wired. I did it on my wife 2007 X3. It cost me around $300.00 in original parts. The Bluetooth unit (TCM) unit cost around $250.00 and the mic $50.00. The unit plugs behind the rear left carpet on the trunk and is hold by 4 screws; Mic plugs on the roof console next to the sunroof opening and closing button. NO DEALER CODING NEEDED at least on 2007 models. Pairing your phone and you are done.

Sorry; I would provide you with the part numbers but I am in Afghanistan on military duties for another 2 months.

Go to bimmernav.com. All of the part numbers that will work and installation instructions are on that site.
