So, we took our "new" 2007 X3 on 550 mile trip last weekend and ran the A/c the entire time. My fiance noticed some water dripping on her left foot (she was sitting in the passenger seat) after some time in the car. I got down and looked, and noticed some condensation on the HVAC box. It wasnt' dripping a lot of water, so I'm not that worried and figure it's just because of the humidity and running the A/C on the trip. I figured at worst, the drain hose is slightly loose/clogged. I'm taking it to the dealer to have them look at it.
Also, I noticed that when the HVAC blower speed is on two or three bars, it makes a squeeking noise; when I turn up the speed, it goes away. Anyone else have this problem? I think it may be that the blower motor is loose somehow and/or it is off axis and rubbing against the housing. They are going to check that out as well. I'll post an update after next week after they look at the car.
