P0171 / P0174 Only when low fuel level in tank
I checked vacuum lines, cleaned MAF just in case but I suspect that the problem is low fuel pressure caused by dirty fuel filter (56K miles and never changed). I will replace the filter the first weekend of March because work / life is too busy nowadays. MPG and performance have not changed. Has anybody experienced this? |

I'd listen to Weasel.

Late Update: I replaced the fuel filter and all the problems were gone. I managed to remove the ring using a big screwdriver covered with electrical tape and a hammer but do not advise to do this: undoing it was not easy and tightening it back was more difficult. The ring will need to be replaced, it will not stand another open / close procedure
