Picked up X3 today
Question is how to connect iPhone 4 to the stereo. The phone works great through the navigation but I want to get my songs on the iPhone to play through the stereo....what do I need to do? It doesn't have the AUX input. Thanks Gary |

I think the 2008 X3 has the AUX input on the back side of the centre armrest, near where the rear cigarette lighter is. Should be standard.
The X3 does not have Bluetooth audio streaming capabilities. |

Aux input
On one we test drove there was but not on this model. It has the premium package which I guess does not include the aux. Easy to add though. Thanks for the warning about not streaming audio via Bluetooth...that will save me some time trying!
Thanks Gary |

iPhone
I just bought my wife the Dice Silverline Duo iPod/iPhone module. Cost ~ $160 and easy to install; or take it somewhere for $40 install. She loves it. You can play music through the steering wheel controls or iPhone itself, and it charges it of course.
