windshield wiper problem
I've only had my '06 X3 for about 2 months. A few weeks ago in a snow storm the windshield wipers stopped mid way. I checked fuses, (found I didn't have a fuse diagram), and all were fine. They then started working, but now park mid way up the windshield. The only way to get them parked in the proper place is to turn off the car when they are down. They travel the proper distance up and down, but just park in the wrong place. I have found a few threads asking questions about this, but no real answers. (I will keep looking). Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, diArdi |

Sorry I don't have an answer for you. Have you had any luck with the solution? I'm having similar issues.

There are 2 possible solutions:
http://www.xoutpost.com/articles/x5/...wiper-fix.html This addresses the physical mechanics of wiper blades. The other is to examine the electrical components of the wiper system. Try removing and reinstalling fuses, and check inside electrical connectors for dampness. |
