2004 X3 wheel fitment

Is there any guide to find out if another model BMW wheel will fit my '04 X3? I am looking at a set of style 106 wheels, 17", that I think came standard on a Z3. I want to go from 18" to 17" to soften up the ride a little for my wife.

Thanks in advance for your help!

See the first post in the linked thread...does not explain the example you are looking for, but read the wheel bore, offset, bolt thread & reach, for an idea.

Maybe another poster will know your specific fitment answer...that style 106 is off a Z4, not Z3. Not my fave wheel...if I was dying for 17s, I would look for style 57, et al, from an X5 or some 17" X3 wheel. Just my opin.

Sorry, forget to paste the link...older and stupid-er...
