2007 X3 stalling out after engine starts

My sister has a 2007 X3 and today when she went to start it, it started up but immediately stalled. I went over to see if I could help out and it did they same thing for me. Definitely not a battery issue. I was able to get it running however by giving it a little gas when it turned over. It is running now but should she be worried about it again? Any thoughts?

You may try replacing your fuel filter if it is original. But better to have the fuel system tested for pressure and flow. Check for any existing codes as well. This can vary widely and can also be something like a cam sensor going out too.

Could also be lambda sensors or MAF, or a cracked air intake hose. Get the codes read. A code reader is just 20GBP on eBay.
