Angel Eyes - I need your help !
I've been looking for the correct brand/size Angel Eyes (LED) to purchase for my X3 (Pre-CLI). I have the Adaptive Xenon projectors (factory) Can anyone confirm what model , fitment has worked in the past? None of the vendors (Bimmian / Stealth Auto) advertise anything for the X3 and when chatting, they tell me they don't know of anyone who has done this mod, but apparently lots of people have destroyed their lights ! Baking, etc ... YIKES ! Help ! I will do a DIY for this once I'm done, I just need some guidance before I start. Anyone with experience please chime in. |

I gave up on this - there doesn't seem to be a cost effective solution for retrofitting Angel Eyes on this model X3.

I have just this week successfully retrofitted Xenons to my 2007 X3 3.0sd.
It wasn't cheap or easy but doable. The BMW retrofit is not available any more so I had to mod the existing plugs and wires. It also needs some coding done. I think it was worth it. Last edited by jagrs; 01-27-2017 at 08:38 PM. |
