What do you guys think of replicas?
Hi gang, I really want some new BMW rims. But finding them at a price that I can afford... well let's just say it's not easy. I really like the 87's, 132's, and the 168's. It would be nice to find a set of oem's. What are the disadvantages of replicas? And are there any other advantages besides cost? I've looked on eBay and there are plenty of 87 and 132 replicas.
BTW, if anyone knows anyone selling these style rims, let me know.

Replicas tend to be heavier too, so it will hinder performance and decrease mileage.
That being said, I did not buy a 3.0i to go real fast, and the cost of oem's are so high, that I will probably end up buying a 20" replica unless I can pick up a set of oem at a good price. I purchased a set of 18" M-parallels for my other BMW and it has worked out fine.
