Well, she's due to be finished in Production this week. I wonder how long it takes to get it to the dealership?

Well, I picked it up on Saturday. It is everything I wanted and more.

First impressions are that we made the right choice for us. It is fantastic to drive, has loads of pickup. Had to really control myself not to open it up. It's still in the break in period, so I don't want to over do it.

It is extremely comfortable with the sport seats, and the optional 19 inch rims.

Things to note.
You will only need an oil change once a year, or every 15K miles on this model. They use synthetic oil is the explaination I got.

At a minimum, take the Wheel and Tire ins package. At $1050 for 5 years, unlimited instances with no deductible, it's a no brainer with these low profile tires. One nail and you'll be replacing the entire tire. When they wear out I'll just get non-run flats on it.

Also, the Estimated fuel MPG is not 100% accurate, or at least it isn't yet. I'm averaging 17 MPG, and that was with the first 100 miles being on the freeway from the dealer to home. I expected better. It could still be calibrating itself and the mileage will hopefully start to come up to the estimated MPG.

It is pretty damn awesome though. This is my first BMW, and so far very impressed. I hope it is a reliable one.
